That's the Bad News!

Now for the Good News!

I am starting a new company.

The new company is Extreme StitchWorks and is a Soft Goods Manufacturing company. We will specialize in providing custom Soft Goods as well as small to medium sized runs of production Soft Goods manufacturing. We will do this for the paintball industry as well as other industries. Players and teams will be able to purchase custom Soft Goods products from packs, vests, and apparel to gear bags and accessories. Dealers and manufacturers will be able to access our production capabilities to bring in existing products or to have their own products developed and manufactured in small enough quantities to be able to offer low risk innovations as I will be able to offer very reasonable MOQ's (Minimum Order Quantities) at wholesale prices.

Soft Goods have been recognized as "What we do (did) best" at Special Ops Paintball and I plan to continue to bring the players the gear and accessories that they want and it will all be made right here in the USA.

I will also be leasing the rights to the Special Ops Brand so the brand itself and the store site www.specialopspaintball.com as well as this forum, will continue on. Effective immediately, my new company (Extreme StitchWorks) will take over fulfillment of all existing and incoming orders. Resale items and close-out items will continue while current supplies last. Special Ops Soft Goods and select Hard Goods will continue to be available indefinitely.

I got an elite patch from (insert team members name from the spec ops team) and include the date and where you were playing.

Here is an example.

Nate,

Nasty Nate gave me an Elite patch on May 21st 2009. We were playing at the Spec Ops field. he told me i was doing so good at sniping i was "Elite" and he gave me the patch. I was playing this position (sniper) and thats what i got elite for.

My brigade name is (insert name here)

I will then talk with whoever you said gave you the patch and verify your story. If its verified i will then add ELITE to your account under which position you said you were playing.

The Forge Interchangeable Vest System is the latest development in the popular line of vests from Special Ops Paintball. Each piece is designed with a focus on function and comfort. There are many different playing styles when it comes to paintball and a single vest layout will never accommodate all of those varying styles. Many players have different gear that they will use depending on the style they are playing for the day. While there is an array of modular style vests, the attachment points often add considerable weight to the vest and/or are not very secure. We asked the question “Why not have a vest where an entire piece of the vest simply comes off and a different one can be attached” and the concept of The Forge was born.

Initially, we have four different front pieces and four different back pieces. Each one of the fronts can be used with each one of the backs. These pieces can be switched out within 30-40 seconds. They are also one size fits all with tremendous adjustability both in the shoulders to adjust length and on the sides to adjust girth. In this way, a player can purchase the pieces that cover their different play styles. It is much more economical than purchasing multiple vests or even other gear to cover everything. It’s so economical in fact, that even if a player plays the same style all the time, they can purchase one front and one back for a total price lower than comparable vests on the market.

The following are descriptions of the various pieces…

Fronts:

MOLLE Standard Front
The MOLLE Standard Front is a pull over design that is covered with PALS Webbing (MOLLE attachment points). Any standard MOLLE gear, including Special Ops Paintball MOLLE gear, can be attached to the front of this vest. It is priced at $29.95.

Padded MOLLE Front
The Padded MOLLE Front is a pull over design that is covered with PALS Webbing (MOLLE attachment points) and has a foam padding so it doubles as a chest protector. Any standard MOLLE gear, including Special Ops Paintball MOLLE gear, can be attached to the front of this vest. It is priced at $34.95.

Harness Front
The Harness Front is for more of a webbing design. The webbing attaches to “V” shaped piece of material which has PALS webbing (MOLLE attachment points) on it. Any small to medium sized standard MOLLE gear, including Special Ops Paintball MOLLE gear, can be attached to the front of this vest. It is priced at $24.95.

Zip Front
The Zip Front allows the vest to be a standard zip up vest. It includes two general purpose utility pouches. It is priced at $29.95.
Backs:

The Plain (Blank) Back
The plain back is empty for those players that don’t like any of their gear on their back and want it all up front. It does however include an internal water bladder pouch to aid in hydration while on the field. It is priced at $19.95.

Stock Class Back
This back is ideal for players that play stock class or use a pistol as their primary. The Stock Class Back can hold up to 17 cap-less 10 round tubes along the bottom. It can also hold up to eight 12 gram Co2 cartridges or capped 10 round tubes. In addition, it includes an internal water bladder pouch to aid in hydration while on the field. It is priced at $34.95.

Light Back
The Light Back holds up to four pods of any size in a vertical position. The pod pouches are made from top quality materials and have a strap to hold the pods secure. These are not just elastic holders that pods can slip out of. In addition, there is a vertical tank pouch which can hold a tank up to 92ci. There is an internal elastic belt inside the vest which really helps to snug the back to your body so there is no flopping around. Finally, it includes an internal water bladder pouch to aid in hydration while on the field. It is priced at $39.95.

Heavy Back
The Heavy Back is for those players that want to hit the field with everything they can carry. It holds up to six pods of any size in a vertical position. That means you can carry almost 1000 rounds of paint in addition to what’s in your hopper. More if you add pod pouches to whichever front you purchase! The pod pouches are made from top quality materials and have a strap to hold the pods secure. These are not just elastic holders that pods can slip out of. It also includes a horizontal tank pouch that will work for both right handed and left handed players. It will easily fit a tank up to 92ci. There is an internal elastic belt inside the vest which really helps to snug the back to your body so there is no flopping around. Finally, it includes an internal water bladder pouch to aid in hydration while on the field. It is priced at $49.95.
