open a field in everystate and host big azz games 1 time a month , c-mon, yall got the money i know i would live at that field in my state if there was one, and besides that if specialops wants every one to know that they run the show then a chain business would be the start not just haveing ONE web page of millions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, okay there. That's a great idea and something that would be really cool to strive for, but one in every state is a bit far out. And as far as knowing they have the money, no, you don't know that. And as far as the business goes -- I don't think I've come across any paintballers that don't know what Specops is. Perhaps a field in each REGION over the next 15 years is a bit more feasible -- if that. But honestly there are paintball fields everywhere, there's no NEED to build these fields, as cool as that would be. Perhaps an SPPL field for each area that the SPPL is held (a field owned and run by specops) Oregon, California, Utah (duh), Michigan, Penn's state, etc.... But even then; MAYBE.

A field in every state would be a little too much for them I think.

Ok, I could understand maybe 50 fields in 50 years. And from my understanding they dont have near enough money to open and run more than 2 or 3... 'Spensive stuff.

Also, consider that if a business has THAT much extra money sitting around, they're not running the business right! Money made probably goes right back into R&D or procurement of new assets. So, the field idea would be really cool, I would love it since I live in PA and SpecOps is out in the desert! But like I said, they probably DON'T really have a whole lot of excess money sitting around - if they do then they need to re-evaluate how they do business since that extra money could be making them MORE money throung investments or new product lines.

Also, think of what happens to anything that becomes big like that. The true meaning of what it started out as becomes lost. Woodsball would become a secondary and profits would become primary. I understand the Special Ops is a business but they strike me as a lot more than just a business.

i just thought thaT IF they could spend all that money and give away so much stuff for 3 days of paintball at the elite weekend they could afford that....

Like they themselves are giving all that away? I bet more than half if not all of the freebies are given from the much larger corporate sponsors.

having there own field in every state is unrealistic but maybe being associated with a field in all 50 would be a bit more practical spec ops could sell some products at the field and have a say or help in the lay out of the field and maybe even hold some sppl qualifiers there

They would probably have to buy already existing fields in many of the states to 1) get rid of competition and 2) already have a dedicated staff and players. Anyways, fields are expensive to maintain, which is why most fields have you purchase their own paint instead of bringing your lucky case of Marbillizers (sry if I butchered the name), so a 50 state thing would be kinda hard. They should have a chain of fields AND stores across the U.S. though.

The Great Lakes Region needs an sppl field, and central Indiana needs a field. We're in the middle, why not here? God knows we have enough woods! An eastern US branch of SpecOps wouldn't be bad either...

I tihnk that if anything, you would see S.O. stores first then maybe some fields that would most likely be close by the stores. There are a lot of people who won't buy off the internet. I would also like to see S.O. branch out with stores before fields.

Make one in Atlanta, GA. all thats here is paintball atlanta and knights crossing which is way to far of a drive. And PB atlanta is a ripoff. 70 bucks for like a case of spank. And you HAVE to use there paint. no 10 dollar BYOP. You will get a lot of business.
We had one field close down after starting. Wild Bills, and it had one field- speedball.
