when Duracoating plastics like hoppers and cyclone bodies do you find that you need the flex additive in your duracoat or are these stiff enough to make that unnecessary? Also, when degreasing the parts do you have to use something else on the plasitics or just the thinner?
Big Bone
If the plastics really dirty I just use soap and water and let the sandblaster do the rest but even paint thinner should work just fine, just make sure it's completely dry before you paint.

As for the flex additive it shouldn't be a problem on the hopper or cyclone, The only place where I've found it to be a problem is on masks. My rule of thumb is, if you can bend it at 90 degrees you shouldn't be using duracoat, so things like hoppers or other rigid plastic should be safe.
