hey guys, Ive always used tippmanns so i relied on special ops for buying upgrades but now im thinking about buying an old impulse. I know action village has some bolts, triggers, and barrels but i don't see any boards there for the impulse and i don't want to buy an impulse unless i know of a website where i can get the upgrades i want. so if any of you guys know of a place with a good selection of parts/boards for the impulse please let me know

thanks

Parts are being discontinued by most manufacturers. If you get an Imp look for a tape worm to be the first upgrade. Most companies that made boards for the Imp are now gone.

dam i was hoping that wasnt the case and honestly i have no idea what a tape worm is lol as stated before ive never had an electro

You can't dry fire an old imp without a tape worm.

Why an imp. I had one and it shot great. However if you expect to buy a new one and the upgrades you'll be disappointed in your search. You should be checking the BST section on used.

What other markers have you considered?

well ive always just liked the impulse, but im willing to change that. ive also been looking at the invert mini but once again im more mechanically inclined not technically.

i don't really know much about electro's but those two are the two mid-budget markers that have stuck out to me

alright well since i now know that impulse parts are hard to come by i probably won't be getting one, so my question here is pretty much answered.
If a mod wants to close this go right ahead

Why not get one of the new Impulses?

look into the nerve. similar platform as the imp, better made. Needs no upgrades outside of personal preference poo. Also they can be found for 100 or so. They VAs is the same as the shocker. All in all one of the best electros you can buy and cheap as hell.
